It was a privilege for Oundle Bowling Club to host a County friendly match on Saturday 8th August Three Oundle players took part in the match, Jim Mackay, John Gouldson and David Walker and contributed to the overall win for Northamptonshire.
This is the second time we have hosted a County match this season. The last in July being, Eastern Counties Versus Midland Counties.
Both matches attracted 48 players over 6 rinks plus numerous visitors and spectators. The club was pleased to receive many compliments on the playing condition of our green and the hospitality provided, including and after match meal and of course, our well stocked bar.
We look forward to hosting more matches next season.
